In Pagan beliefs, Samhain falls on the day when the veil between the spirit world and the living draws closest together. We celebrate this day with family and ancestors by our side that have passed on, saving a place at the table for those we love to dine with us. The altar is a place of remembrance, dedicated to our loved ones so that they are honoured and loved even in death.
We offer herbs, stones of power, wealth, and flowers to the spirits as tribute to show we love and respect them. These offerings have been selected by us from our garden and our treasures, as our personal way to honour those we miss most.
